Sean Combs’ prison release date has been moved up for the 5th time. Combs, 56, is serving a 4-year prison sentence on prostitution charges.<\/p>\n

Combs, a.k.a. “Brother Love,” “Diddy,” “Puffy,” and “Puff Daddy,” was previously set to be released on April 25, 2028. The Federal Bureau of Prisons moved his release date up to February 28, 2028 without explanation.<\/p>\n

The Bureau of Prisons noted that it does “not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including release plans.” Combs’ release date has been changed five times<\/a><\/strong> since he began serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

His attorneys are still trying to appeal his conviction. He currently faces around 70 civil lawsuits, including a lawsuit filed<\/a><\/strong> on June 9, from a former child actor.<\/p>\n

In a March 13 filing, Combs’ defense team called the original 50-month sentence a “perversion of justice” and pushed for immediate release, an acquittal or at least a new hearing.<\/p>\n

They argued that the biased New York judge relied too heavily on conduct the jury did not actually find him guilty of during the eight-week trial.<\/p>\n

In a legal victory, a judge tossed out Dawn Richard’s lawsuit that accused her former boss of creating an abusive work environment. The judge said she filed too late.<\/p>\n

Dawn was a former member of Combs’ R&B groups Danity Kane and Diddy – Dirty Money. She claimed Combs deprived her of sleep, raised his voice at her and threw objects, including a laptop and food at her.<\/p>\n
