Photo: GofundMe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Florida couple who chose to raise a baby who isn&#8217;t genetically theirs is asking for donations after reaching an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sandrarose.com\/2026\/06\/florida-couple-will-raise-ivf-baby-who-is-not-genetically-theirs\/\" target=\"_blank\">agreement<\/a><\/strong> with the biological parents.<\/p>\n<p>Tiffany Score and Steven Mills shared <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/TiffandSteveIVFmixup\" target=\"_blank\">new photos<\/a><\/strong> of their baby girl, Shea, on a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/TiffandSteveIVFmixup\" target=\"_blank\">GoFundMe<\/a><\/strong> page requesting donations. The family shared new details about their lives through a statement released by Tiffany&#8217;s sister, Alexa.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, June 22, Alexa <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/florida-couple-ivf-mixup-share-positive-life-update-new-photos-baby-daughter-12005279\" target=\"_blank\">explained<\/a><\/strong> how Tiffany and Steven reached an agreement with the biological parents.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The agreement came from a place of selfless love from all individuals, and I am so truly proud of everyone involved. Our family&#8217;s hearts are filled with relief and gratitude,&#8221; Alexa wrote on GoFundMe.<\/p>\n<div class=\"gfm-embed\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/TiffandSteveIVFmixup\/widget\/large\"><\/div>\n<p><script defer src=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/static\/js\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Alexa said that the couple is still attempting to find out what happened to their other three viable embryos. They may also implant their last remaining embryo.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That process involves ongoing legal coordination, medical consultations, genetic testing, and the transport and testing of their last remaining supposed embryo &#8211; a procedure that is both complex and costly, with no guarantee of the outcome,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_CODE\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-CODE\" style=\"width: 745px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandrarose.com\/images43\/steven-tiffany-shea-745x931.jpg\" width=\"745\" height=\"931\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Photo of Steven Mills, Tiffany Score and daughter Shea\"\/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-CODE\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Steven Mills, Tiffany Score and daughter Shea. Photo: GofundMe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Alexa added: &#8220;Your support has allowed them to continue seeking those answers while keeping their focus where it belongs: on loving and raising their sweet girl, Shea. Every act of kindness has helped carry them through one of the most difficult chapters of their lives.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She promised more updates &#8220;when the time is right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tiffany delivered baby Shea via in vitro fertilization (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sandrarose.com\/2026\/06\/florida-couple-will-raise-ivf-baby-who-is-not-genetically-theirs\/\" target=\"_blank\">IVF<\/a><\/strong>) in December 2025. She and Steven immediately realized their newborn was &#8220;non-Caucasian.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A DNA test confirmed their suspicions. Baby Shea is 100% South Asian, according to their lawyer, Mara Hatfield.<\/p>\n<p>The couple filed a lawsuit against the Orlando fertility clinic, IVF Life, Inc.
