Photo by E+ \/ Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trump Accounts officially <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sandrarose.com\/2026\/01\/trump-savings-account-baby-millionaire\/\" target=\"_blank\">launched<\/a><\/strong> today, July 4, 2026. Trump Accounts are tax-deferred investment savings accounts for eligible newborns to invest in their future. The U.S. Treasury will deposit a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sandrarose.com\/2026\/01\/trump-savings-account-baby-millionaire\/\" target=\"_blank\">$1,000<\/a><\/strong> federal contribution into each account to help them start saving for the future.<\/p>\n<p>That $1,000 cannot be touched until the beneficiary turns 18. Parents can be the sole custodian of the account until your child is 18.
